            Volleyball Recap: Clovis North Broncos vs. Buchanan Bears        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Central East  last Thursday, Clovis North came back down to earth. The Broncos took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buchanan Bears on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bears this season,  with their most recent  loss being a  3-0  defeat  on April 3rd.
 Clovis North started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-19, 25-10,  25-19.
 Buchanan got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Cole Haroldsen out in front who  had 25  assists and seven  digs. That's the most  digs  Haroldsen has posted  over his last ten  contests. Another player making a difference was  Carlos Jay, who  had five  digs and two  aces.
Clovis North has  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-12 record  this season. As for Buchanan, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-15 record  this season.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Clovis North will  face off against  rival Clovis West  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Buchanan is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Clovis East  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
