Basketball Game Preview: Gunnison Valley Bulldogs vs. Stansbury Stallions

The Gunnison Valley Bulldogs will be taking part in a tournament against the Stansbury Stallions at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Wednesday, Gunnison Valley was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 59-55 to Draper APA. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 12-6 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Stansbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by Morgan and fell 73-35. The match marked the Stallions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Gunnison Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Stansbury, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
