The Boiling Springs Bubblers are taking a road trip to take on the Northern York Polar Bears at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Boiling Springs is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Boiling Springs earned a 5-2 win over Waynesboro. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bubblers.

Phoenix Houser spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Dom Beck, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Chance Flor, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Northern York fell victim to James Buchanan and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to the Rockets. The Polar Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northern York's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Boiling Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Boiling Springs came out on top in a nail-biter against Northern York in their previous matchup back in March, sneaking past 5-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bubblers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
