Basketball Game Preview: Duncan Wildkats vs. Patagonia Lobos

Duncan is 8-1 against Patagonia since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The two teams will face off at 3:30 p.m. without much rest, having both just played. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Duncan saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 40-33 to Bisbee. The Wildkats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Isaiah Sumner, who posted eight points and 11 boards. He has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last nine times he's played. Another player making a difference was Taygen Jensen, who put up 13 points.

Meanwhile, Patagonia was beaten by St. Augustine Catholic 72-28 on Friday.

Duncan now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Patagonia, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
