Softball Recap: Southern Lehigh's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against Saucon Valley last Tuesday, Southern Lehigh came back down to earth. Southern Lehigh fell 9-4 to the Northwestern Lehigh Tigers on Thursday. The game marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Demi Lewis made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Lily Kelly, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Southern Lehigh's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-2. As for Northwestern Lehigh, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Southern Lehigh will be playing at home against Palmerton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northwestern Lehigh, they will venture away from home to square off against Hamburg at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Hamburg will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Northwestern Lehigh surely won't give up without a fight.
