Softball Recap: Heide Trask's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Heide Trask put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs 23-1. Fans of the Titans have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Taylor Sparkman was incredible, scoring four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in runs. Another player making a difference was Makayla Smith, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Heide Trask was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Heide Trask's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Northside - Jacksonville, their defeat was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Heide Trask has already played their next matchup, a 26-6 win against Hobbton on the 7th. As for Northside - Jacksonville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 15-0 loss against Southwest Onslow on the 6th.
