Basketball Recap: Williston Starts off Right with Win over St. John Paul II

Williston gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 65-16 victory over the St. John Paul II Panthers. The Red Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

St. John Paul II is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coming up, Williston is headed away from home for the first time to square off against P.K. Yonge at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. John Paul II, they will host Community Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will be up against the Chargers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 65.4 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
