Baseball Recap: Moore Haven Terriers vs. Lehigh Lightning

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Gateway Charter, Moore Haven was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Lehigh Lightning. For the Terriers, this counts as revenge for the 22-3 victory the Lightning walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2022.

Thaddeus Johns and Jaelin Johnson made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Johns tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Johnson pitched three innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs but no hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. At bat, Johns went 3-for-4 with five stolen bases, three runs, and one double, while Johnson went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases Johns has posted since back in February of 2025.
