The Lincolnview Lancers gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 56-23 victory over Continental. With Lincolnview ahead 32-12 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Leading Lincolnview to victory were Keira Breese and Addysen Stevens. Breese scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists, while Stevens scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlyn Price, who scored 4 points along with 5 steals.
Lincolnview's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Continental, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Lincolnview will be playing at home against Ottoville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Continental, they will head out on the road to face off against Hicksville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Hicksville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Saturday.
