Softball Recap: Kingwood Park Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Kingwood Park got themselves on the board against West Fork on Tuesday, but West Fork never followed suit. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over the Gators. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Kingwood Park pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for West Fork, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.

Kingwood Park will be playing at home against Dayton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Broncos will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Fork, they will face off against Pasadena at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Gators are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
