Basketball Recap: Rocky Bayou Christian Comes Up Short

Rocky Bayou Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Niceville Eagles, falling 72-38. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-32 back in December of 2024.

Rocky Bayou Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Daniel Knapp, who posted ten points, and Carver Knapp, who went 5 of 6 on his way to 10 points.

Anwar Conley was nothing short of spectacular for Niceville: he went 8 for 11 en route to 20 points and three steals. That's the most points Conley has posted since back in February of 2024. Jackson Hamman was another key player, going 5 of 8 on his way to 14 points and seven boards.

Rocky Bayou Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Niceville, their record now sits at 12-8.

Rocky Bayou Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 69-53 defeat against Bozeman on the 17th. As for Niceville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 66-56 victory against Fort Walton Beach on the 17th.
