Baseball Recap: Gorton Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Gorton was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Sleepy Hollow Horsemen, falling 8-1. The Wolves have struggled against the Horsemen recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Gorton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Hernandez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Gorton's loss dropped their record down to 4-10-2. As for Sleepy Hollow, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Gorton will head out on the road to challenge Saunders Trades & Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sleepy Hollow does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
