It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Novi ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Plymouth 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Novi has posted against Plymouth since April 13, 2022.

Novi pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Plymouth, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.
