Basketball Game Preview: Ozark Tigers vs. Jefferson City Jays

The Ozark Tigers and the Jefferson City Jays will compete for holiday cheer at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Ozark lost 52-26 to Republic on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for Ozark in their matchups with Republic: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Jefferson City unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a hard 54-40 fall against Rolla on Monday. The Jays just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row dating back to last season.

Ozark couldn't quite finish off Jefferson City in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 and fell 41-39. Can Ozark avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
