Volleyball Game Preview: Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors vs. Union Academy Cardinals

The Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors will head out to square off against the Union Academy Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Metrolina Christian Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Covenant Day and fell 3-2. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Metrolina Christian Academy wouldn't go down easily and took Covenant Day into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking 13-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-20, 25-17, 16-25, 15-2.

Meanwhile, Union Academy entered their tilt with Bradford Prep on Wednesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Bears 3-0.

The final score came out to 26-24, 25-16, 25-22.

Having lost for the first time this season, Metrolina Christian Academy fell to 4-1. As for Union Academy, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.
