After a string of four wins, Pioneer's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Barr-Reeve Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2018.

Pioneer's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Barr-Reeve, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pioneer will host Logansport at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Barr-Reeve, they will square off against Evansville Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
