Basketball Recap: Nodaway Valley Comes Up Short

Nodaway Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 73-68 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lenox Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-53 back in December of 2024.

Nodaway Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Lenox, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nodaway Valley will square off against Treynor at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lenox, they will challenge Martensdale-St. Mary's at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
