Baseball Recap: Downingtown East Takes a Loss

Downingtown East fell victim to Bayard Rustin and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Golden Knights by a score of 1-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Cougars were not able to get on the board.

Downingtown East's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-3. As for Bayard Rustin, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Henderson will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Downingtown East surely won't give up without a fight.
