Basketball Recap: Piggott's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Piggott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 54-41 to the Buffalo Island Central Mustangs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mohawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-48 back in December of 2024.

Piggott's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-7. As for Buffalo Island Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-10 record this season.

Piggott will challenge Rector at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Buffalo Island Central, they will take on Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
