Basketball Recap: Center Falls Despite Big Games from Jada Smith and Kaliejha Johnson

Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 47-35 to the Texas Truth HomeSchool Truth . That's two games in a row now that the Roughriders have lost by exactly 12 points.

Kaliejha Johnson and Jada Smith certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Johnson posted nine points and six boards, while Smith earned nine points and three steals. What's more, Johnson also racked up two steals, the most she's had since back in January.

Center's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Texas Truth HomeSchool, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Center won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hitchcock at 3:20 p.m. on Friday. As for Texas Truth HomeSchool, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Diboll at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
