Football Game Preview: Sparkman Senators vs. Bob Jones Patriots + How To Watch

Sparkman hasn't had much luck against Bob Jones recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Senators will square off against the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. Sparkman has given up an average of 36 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Sparkman came up short against Mae Jemison and fell 34-27.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Braylon Lawson, who rushed for 133 yards and one touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 133 rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Zayden Bodner, who picked up 87 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bob Jones, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Gadsden City 26-24.

Sparkman better keep an eye on Rhys Dorsey. He was instrumental in Bob Jones' win, rushing for 112 yards and one TD.

Bob Jones' victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.6 points. As for Sparkman, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Things could have been worse for Sparkman, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-37 loss to Bob Jones when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Senators avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
