Football Recap: Marlboro Takes a Loss

Marlboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against the Red Bank Catholic Caseys, falling 56-7. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while the Caseys are ranked 11th).

Marlboro's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Red Bank Catholic, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Marlboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Red Bank Catholic, they will face off against Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
