Potosi got themselves on the board against Herculaneum on Wednesday, but Herculaneum never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Black Cats with a sharp  10-0 win. The  victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Black Cats: they've now won four in a row.
 Lane Revelle and  Brayden Blair made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound,  Revelle   kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Meanwhile,  Blair   tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. At the plate,  Revelle  went 1-for-4 with one  triple and one  RBI, while  Blair  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances. That  stolen base was  Blair's first of the season.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Gavin Mosier, who  scored a  run and  stole four bases while going 3-for-5. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 1.2  stolen bases per game.  Camden Kincaid also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen base of the season.
 Potosi  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .550. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
The  win  got Potosi back to even at 2-2. As for Herculaneum, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the  defeat, which was their ninth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Potosi will challenge South Iron at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Herculaneum, they will face off against Windsor at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
