Basketball Recap: Paint Rock Comes Up Short

Paint Rock suffered their closest loss since December 19, 2023 on Friday. They fell just short of the Highland Hornets by a score of 40-37. The Indians were probably out for revenge after losing 41-38 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Paint Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Highland, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paint Rock will venture away from home to challenge Paint Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Highland, they will head out on the road to square off against Baird at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
