Baseball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

After soaring to 15 runs the game before, Mountain View was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They fell just short of the Rosemead Panthers by a score of 3-2. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 5-2.

Mountain View has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season. As for Rosemead, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-10.

Coincidentally, Mountain View and Rosemead will both be playing Arroyo the next time they take the field. The Panthers will head out to face the Knights at 3:15 p.m. on Monday, while the Vikings will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
