Basketball Game Preview: Notre Dame Academy Tritons vs. Sheboygan North Golden Raiders

The Notre Dame Academy Tritons will venture away from home to face off against the Sheboygan North Golden Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Notre Dame Academy has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests.

While Notre Dame Academy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 58-57 win over Pulaski. Given the Tritons' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Red Raiders are ranked 164th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Sheboygan North waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pirates, sneaking past 64-61.

Notre Dame Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Sheboygan North, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.

Notre Dame Academy strolled past Sheboygan North in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a score of 70-53. The rematch might be a little tougher for Notre Dame Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
