Baseball Recap: Mifflinburg Takes a Loss

Mifflinburg blew Lewisburg out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Lewisburg got their revenge. The Wildcats fell just short of the Green Dragons by a score of 4-2. Wildcats fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Green Dragons since on Saturday.

Landen Murray was cooking despite his team's loss, earning two runs and three stolen bases. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played.

Mifflinburg is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9. As for Lewisburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-10-1 record this season.

Mifflinburg will be playing at home against Loyalsock Township at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
