Basketball Recap: North Mecklenburg Piles Up the Points Against North Lincoln

The North Mecklenburg Vikings took their game on Saturday with ease, bagging a 79-49 victory over the North Lincoln Knights. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Despite the loss, North Lincoln still got an impressive performance from Ally Smith, who shot 40% from the field on her way to 28 points along with six boards and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Reese Burch, who posted eight points.

North Mecklenburg's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for North Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, North Mecklenburg will host South Iredell at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Lincoln, they will face off against Southeast Alamance at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
