Basketball Recap: Grovetown Gets the Win

Grovetown won the last time they faced Academy of Richmond County and Amare Pryce did his part to make sure it happened again. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 63-42 margin over the Musketeers on Saturday thanks in part to Pryce, who posted 26 points. His big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Grovetown now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Academy of Richmond County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Grovetown will head out to challenge Varsity Opponent on Friday. As for Academy of Richmond County, they will be taking part in a tournament against Greenbrier at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The Musketeers will need to watch out since the Wolfpack have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
