Basketball Recap: Newark Tech Comes Up Short

Newark Tech has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They received a blow on Friday as they fell 63-47 to the Cedar Grove Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Terries this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-43 back in January.

Newark Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Cedar Grove, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-3.

Coming up, Newark Tech will head out to face off against Newark Central at 4:00 p.m. on February 14th. Cedar Grove has already played their next game (against Butler), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
