Basketball Recap: Steinbrenner Sets Scoring Season-High Against East Lake

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Steinbrenner). They breezed past the East Lake Eagles to the tune of 92-15 on Thursday. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 matches by 24 points or more this season.

Steinbrenner's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Naomi Parker, who went 10 for 17 on her way to 23 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Breanna Hartley, who went 7 of 8 en route to 14 points in addition to seven steals and five rebounds.

Steinbrenner was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Steinbrenner has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.9 points over those games. As for East Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-16.

Steinbrenner has already played their next contest, a 60-51 loss against Sickles on the 8th. East Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
