Covenant Christian Academy and Oakwood Christian squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Covenant Christian Academy had to settle for second. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The Rams' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Clara Roughton paced Covenant Christian Academy's offense, picking up four kills. Roughton got some help from Lauren Grentz and her five assists. Finally, McKenna King kept Covenant Christian Academy's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Covenant Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 21-8. As for Oakwood Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-16 record this season.

Covenant Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oakwood Christian, they will square off against Lafayette Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
