Lake Belton came tearing into Thursday's match with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Chaparral Bobcats as they made off with a 9-1 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-0 on Tuesday.

Lake Belton's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-4-2. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.5 runs. As for Chaparral, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-11-2.
