Volleyball Recap: Lilly Nelson Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Palmer

Montrose had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Palmer Terrors on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Hawks.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-9, 25-19.

Montrose's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lilly Nelson, who had 33 assists and 11 digs. That's the most assists Nelson has posted over her last six matches.

Montrose's record is now 22-3. As for Palmer, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-9.

As of now, neither Montrose nor the Terrors have any future games scheduled.
