Volleyball Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Prairie Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat on Tuesday.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Prairie, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Washington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Grundy Center on the 27th. As for Prairie, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Columbus Catholic on the 27th.
