Volleyball Recap: Campbell County Takes a Loss

Campbell County lost against Sheridan on October 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Camels fell just short of the Broncs by a score of 3-2. The Camels' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Campbell County actually scored more points across those five sets (109-102), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-23, 19-25, 25-23, 18-25, 15-13.

Addyson Layten paced Campbell County's offense, picking up 12 kills. Layten got some help from Jaedyn Williams and her 19 assists. Layten was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Campbell County's record now sits at 11-17. As for Sheridan, their victory bumped their record up to 14-11.

As of now, neither Campbell County nor the Broncs have any future games scheduled.
