Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Prairie). They blew past the Evergreen Plainsmen 27-3 on Monday. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

Mackenzie Moore made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while getting on base in four of her six plate appearances. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Payton Blunt was incredible, getting on base in five of her six plate appearances with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kellie Cady, who got on base in four of her six plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Prairie has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Evergreen, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.
