Santa Rosa Academy proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Elsinore Tigers 3-2. For the Rangers, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2019.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Santa Rosa Academy got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-22, 22-25, 25-22, 17-25, 15-7.

Santa Rosa Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Elsinore, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Santa Rosa Academy will venture away from home to take on California Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Elsinore, they will host Murrieta Mesa at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
