Softball Preview: Hutsonville/Palestine Tigers vs. Robinson Maroons

Hutsonville/Palestine is 0-6 against Robinson since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Hutsonville/Palestine Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Robinson Maroons at 4:30 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Hutsonville/Palestine had just enough and edged Oblong out 11-10. The win made it back-to-back victories for Hutsonville/Palestine.

Lily Holcomb was incredible, going 3-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Alaina Holcomb, who scored a run while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Robinson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over Teutopolis on Thursday.
