Volleyball Recap: Mary Star of the Sea Comes Up Short

Mary Star of the Sea was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Monrovia Wildcats, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Stars of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2021.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 25-17.

Mary Star of the Sea now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Monrovia, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Mary Star of the Sea didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Paraclete on the 16th. As for Monrovia, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against West on the 16th.
