Softball Recap: Groveport-Madison Comes Up Short

Groveport-Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Greenbrier Christian Academy Gators, falling 8-0.

Groveport-Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Greenbrier Christian Academy, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-1.

Coming up, Groveport-Madison will take on Lancaster at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Greenbrier Christian Academy, they will square off against Penfield at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. The Gators' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
