Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Oak Hills' Fifth in Last Six Outings

If Colerain wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Oak Hills, they should've done a better job of containing Nathaniel Riep. The Oak Hills Highlanders enjoyed a cozy 46-29 win over the Colerain Cardinals on Tuesday thanks in part to Riep, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Max Rhodes, who posted six points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2023.

Oak Hills has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Colerain, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the loss, which was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Oak Hills will head out to challenge Sycamore at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Oak Hills is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.1 points per game this season. Colerain has already played their next contest (against Lakota East), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
