Basketball Recap: Timberlake Christian's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Timberlake Christian came into Tuesday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged the Christian Heritage Academy Knights out 50-47. This was a revenge game for the Tornadoes: when they faced off against the Knights back in December of 2024, they had to take a 45-44 defeat.

Despite the loss, Christian Heritage Academy still got an impressive performance from Luke Mason, who went 8 for 12 en route to 24 points and seven boards. The contest was Mason's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Isaac Ingram, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.

Timberlake Christian's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10. As for Christian Heritage Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Timberlake Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Christian Heritage Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against King's Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Christian Heritage Academy is facing King's Christian Academy at the right time seeing as King's Christian Academy is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
