Softball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt fell victim to Marlboro Central and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 14-0 to the Dukes. The loss continues a trend for the Presidents in their meetings with the Dukes: they've now lost six in a row.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Marlboro Central, the win keeps they at an undefeated 14-0.

Coming up, Roosevelt will take on Our Lady of Lourdes at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Presidents are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Marlboro Central, they will face off against Pine Bush at 4:30 p.m. on the 20th.
