Volleyball Recap: Munford Comes Up Short

Munford came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Collierville Dragons. The Cougars have struggled against the Dragons recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Munford took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-13, 25-14.

Munford's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Collierville, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-10-1 record this season.

Munford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Collierville, they will square off against Hernando at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
