Basketball Recap: Petal Comes Up Short

Petal was the 59-52 winner over Ocean Springs when they last played one another back in December of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell 60-53 to the Greyhounds on Saturday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Petal now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Ocean Springs, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Petal will be playing at home against Purvis at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ocean Springs, they will venture away from home to take on Hattiesburg at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
