Baseball Recap: Covenant Classical Comes Up Short

Covenant Classical fell victim to Fort Worth Country Day and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 1-0. The loss continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost six in a row.

Covenant Classical saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Harrison Gray, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Covenant Classical's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Fort Worth Country Day will welcome Lake Country Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Covenant Classical will be paying especially close attention to the Falcons' game: after the Falcons face off against the Eagles, they'll take on Covenant Classical again at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
