The nation's No. 1 recruit has finally signed a national letter of intent.

Seantrel Henderson inked with the Trojans around 3 p.m. EST Tuesday, nearly seven weeks after National Signing Day.
This closes the book on Henderson's long, high-profile recruitment. He
verbally pledged to USC in front of a national audience on the CBS College Sports Network on Feb. 3, but did not sign with the Trojans.
He was, however, impressed by the new staff at USC from the get-go.
“Coach (Lane Kiffin), coach Monte (Kiffin), coach (Ed) Orgeron and coach (James) Cregg were all great,” Henderson said at the time. “I think coach Cregg is going to come in and do some good things with the O-Line.”
Henderson had until April 1 to sign with the Trojans. He was the only player in the MaxPreps Class of 2010 Top 100 to remain unsigned after Glenville (Cleveland, Ohio) star defensive back Latwan Anderson inked with Miami on March 12.
The addition of Henderson should close the books on another stellar
USC recruiting class, which also features
Kyle Prater,
Robert Woods and
Dillon Baxter.
