Basketball Game Preview: St. Elizabeth Hornets vs. Green City Gophers

The St. Elizabeth Hornets will take on the Green City Gophers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as St. Elizabeth comes in on five and Green City on 25.

St. Elizabeth is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They managed a 54-49 victory over Northeast.

Gavin Williams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 16 points and 17 rebounds. He has been hot, having also posted two or more blocks the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Carter Reinkemeyer, who posted 12 points.

Meanwhile, Green City earned a 71-61 win over Brunswick on Monday.

St. Elizabeth's victory bumped their record up to 20-9. As for Green City, their win bumped their record up to 24-0.
