Volleyball Recap: Switzerland County Takes a Loss

Switzerland County lost against Southwestern back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pacers lost 3-0 to the Rebels. The Pacers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Switzerland County took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-16, 25-21.

Southwestern had a senior duo take command as Jocelyn Johnson had 21 digs and Hillarie Buchanan had seven digs and five aces. Buchanan has been hot for a while, having also posted 15 or more assists the last 13 times she's played.

Switzerland County's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Southwestern, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season.

Switzerland County will take on Milan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southwestern, they will challenge Henryville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
